Engineering isn’t just a subject. It’s a way of seeing the world and changing it.
We’re delighted to be hosting This is Engineering, a practical, hands on workshop delivered in partnership with Illuminate Labs and the Royal Academy of Engineering as part of a series of events taking place across Northern Ireland.
Open to anyone aged 15 and over, this interactive session offers an opportunity to explore engineering, technology and innovation in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.
No previous experience or technical knowledge is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get involved!
What to Expect
Participants will have the opportunity to build, test and experiment through practical activities, meet engineers and discover how engineering and technology help solve everyday challenges.
The workshop will encourage creativity, teamwork and problem solving, while introducing participants to the range of opportunities and career pathways available within engineering and related fields.
Whether you’re a student considering your future options, interested in technology or simply curious about how things work, this is an opportunity to try something new.
